Freshmen Applicants

First-time (freshmen) college students will apply to Purdue using the Common Application. When you apply, you’ll have the opportunity to select which location you would like: West Lafayette or Indianapolis. You will also be applying for a specific major. Be sure to check our Freshman Admission Criteria before applying.

Transfer Applicants

Students who have completed 12 credit hours of college-level coursework after high school graduation will apply as a transfer student. Begin the transfer application by selecting the Purdue University in Indianapolis and Purdue University West Lafayette option. Be sure to review our Transfer Student Checklist before applying.
