International Baccalaureate (IB) Credit
IB credit exam scores may be eligible for transfer credit at Purdue. Discover what IB credit Purdue accepts and the minimum scores required to earn credit.

Eligibility for IB Credit
- Credit may be awarded for both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) IB exams.
- To receive credit, you must request that your official IB scores be sent electronically directly to Purdue University West Lafayette from the IB organization.
Scoring and Policy Updates
- Effective fall 2025, IB exams are scored on a 1–7 scale.
- Students must earn a score of 4 or higher to receive Purdue credit.
- IB transfer credit policies are subject to change without notice.
