National Examinations in World Languages
The College Board National Examination in World Languages (NEWL) program allows you to establish college credit with an online proficiency-based language assessment.
The sections below provide information about the NEWL scores necessary to earn credit in the corresponding Purdue courses. To receive credit from NEWL results, your official scores must be sent electronically to Purdue (code 1631) directly from College Board.
