West Lafayette
Our West Lafayette campus is conveniently located near the interstate that connects Indianapolis and Chicago. We're about one hour north of Indianapolis and two hours south of Chicago. Commercial travel to West Lafayette is easily accessible, and there are many lodging options on and around campus. The resources below can help you plan your trip.
COMMERCIAL TRAVEL SERVICES

Air Travel - The nearest commercial airports are The Purdue Airport (located on campus), the Indianapolis International Airport (65 miles), Chicago O’Hare (140 miles) and Chicago Midway (130 miles).

Shuttle Services from Airports - Shuttle service is provided to and from Indianapolis by Lafayette Limo. Shuttle service to and from O’Hare is provided by Reindeer Shuttle.

Other Commercial Travel - Amtrak and Greyhound also serve the area, stopping at a station in Lafayette. From there, visitors can ride Greater Lafayette's CityBus system to Purdue (about 1.5 miles).
LODGING
Purdue West Lafayette is a very walkable campus and the Union Club Hotel in the Purdue Memorial Union is a convenient on-campus location for overnight visitors. However, there are a variety of other lodging options in the Greater Lafayette area. Use the Greater Lafayette Visitor's Bureau website to locate other nearby hotels and campgrounds.

Indianapolis
Our Indianapolis campus extension covers the entirety of Indianapolis with multiple facilities across the Circle City. Commercial travel to Indianapolis is easily accessible, and there are many lodging options on and around campus. The resources below can help you plan your trip.

Air Travel - The nearest commercial airport is the Indianapolis International Airport (15 miles).

Shuttle Services from Airports - IndyGo is a bus service that offers $4-day passes for all fixed routes throughout Indianapolis and has direct routes from the airport. Taxi services and Uber/Lyft are available at Indianapolis Airport, and taxi services have a $15 minimum charge for all fares from the airport, regardless of distance.

Other Commercial Travel - Amtrak, Flixbus, and Greyhound also serve the area, stopping at multiple stations in Indianapolis.
LODGING
Indianapolis hosts a wide variety of lodging options, and the Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown IUPUI is a great location close to our campus for overnight visitors.
