Combine your knowledge of architecture, your project management skills and your communication abilities to explain the construction process to the building project’s stakeholders, such as the contractors, designers and client. It’s your job to diplomatically explain the builder’s requirements to the customer while conveying the client’s vision to the builder.
The core of DCI is in construction management and supporting courses that provide students with a fundamental understanding of the design process from within and outside the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. In addition to construction management classes, DCI students study liberal arts, sustainability, architecture techniques, society, design and management.
